I wanted to put a post out to all my faithful readers that girl scout cookies are being sold right now. They have lots of good flavors and some are reduced fat as well!! Monique was selling them as well as 2 of my closer friends. So, if you don't have a girl scout to buy from, contact me and I can find someone for you to buy from.

Nancy B.

Before my camera broke, I did a great photo shoot for a friend of mine, Nancy. She was wanting some pictures of her, her daughter, and granddaughter--but it turned out so much better than that! She also had her husband, son, and her mom in there!! It was great!!!

Here are a few:

Is she just the cutest little girl!?!?! I love her dress!!
Thank you Nancy for giving me the opportunity to take pictures of your beautiful family! I am honored I was able to freeze this moment for you to cherish for years to come!!

Playing Catch Up

What a crazy couple of days!! I've been taking pictures (over the weekend, especially), but haven't had time to post them. Sunday, we all got outside and played the kid's "preferred" sports. For Monique, that's Volleyball and for Chase, that's baseball. Monique was super good at baseball, though, we may havge to find her a softball camp for the summer.
Doesn't that look crazy?! It makes my arm ache!

I had time to play with Daisy, so here are a couple of her.
Also, David went hunting and here is a picture of what him and his buddy shot!
Monday was an exhausting day! David was home sick, and Chase had a dental ckeck-up so I was on the road from 11:45-7:30!! Of course, that means that I missed bible study again! :(
I had this picture that I wanted to throw in...Chase and I don't get many pictures together!

Lazy Day for the Kids

Well, today I had to go to work - so I was up super early this morning. When I walked in the door, David looked at me all pitiful and said "I have a headache and it won't go away!" He is getting sick, so I took pity on him and I went on Mommy Duty! Which wasn't difficult at first--this is all Chase wanted to do, since Monique had homework to do!

Monique doing her homework..on a weekend...... :(

Monique has Glasses!

Monique came back home today and she has new glasses. Getting the glasses has helped her read the board at school better, but not with her reading in general. Here is a picture of her and David this evening.

Gosh, she has grown up sooo much!!!! Have a great weekend!

Esther - It's Tough Being a Woman

Well, now that I have my first picture for the 365 Project, let's see what I am trying to do tonight. I'm in the 2nd week of a Bible study by Beth Moore. The more I learn about the book of Esther - the more I will try to pass on to you out there.

This is the cover of the study - and so far, I'm keeping up with the homework!! :)

365 Project - Here I Come! 1/14/09

OK, a fellow photographer friend has inspired me to join in on the 365 Project! So, here it is: the objective is to post a picture a day (some choose to post all at the end of the week to make it easier, others every day). This is for me, the photographer, to have a sort-of journal of the last year. This is also for you, my faithful readers, to keep up with things in my life, things that interest me, or things that I think will interest YOU! It's also to help me to be a better photographer - I only want to pass the best pictures on to you - so I'll be trying hard to get those!

So, here is a picture of yesterday (1/14/09) on the way home:

This picture I took in Damon with David's camera on the way home from work. The white birds out in the field are snow geese that I've been stalking for a couple of days. They were finally close enough to the road to get this picture (David's camera has a built-in zoom, not a zoom lens).

I have Internet!!!!!!

OK, the last person on Earth has finally gotten internet at home! I now feel like I'm a big girl! :) So, what this means to you all my cyber-friends, is that I can now talk to you on a more regular basis! I can post more freely as my J-O-B doesn't really like me posting...solmething about Corporate Policy! LOL

Here is a favorite that I just happened to take this afternoon--Just because I'm without my professional camera, doesn't mean I'm not taking pictures.

Chase, my son, sold enough items at his school fundraiser so he earned a trip on a LIMO (the HUMMER LIMO).

Melissa and her sweet daughter - who sold the most in the ENTIRE school!!!!!!!
